Good gumbo mi

Tried a sample of gumbo in grocery store (11/10/2018)and bought a bag of the gumbo mix. The sample tasted like a good gumbo base and I felt it needed more “cajun’ in it as did the other reviewer. I have not made it yet but plan to doctor it up, as I do with all other prepped mixes and season the meat I put in. (brown the meat first with seasoning, then add to pot) On a very positive note. The directions say it make a whole gallon, which is a lot! So,,,, maybe it has adequate flavoring for me if I add less water( I’ll ALWAYS add stock, never plain water)? The tickness and flavor are probably as good as pre-mix gumbo pack can be( I do all food fairly spicey and with heat, so it may be perfect for normal Cajuns. Lol) anyway, I think you’ll like it, i guaraaantee!
