Creative Cajun Roast & Gravy Magic 12.8 oz

Cajun Seasoning and Gravy Mix. Perfect for slow cooking! For homage Rice & Gravy like MawMaw's! Family Size 3-6 lb roasts beef, pork & game.

This Box contains one pack of seasoning for meat and one pack of thickener for gravy.

Instructions for slow cooker roast & gravy:

For 3-6 lb roasts in a 6 quart or larger pot

Optional: Quickly sear the roast on all sides in a skillet.

1. Whisk 6 cups water and Seasoning Pack in pot.
2. Place roast in pot with seasoned water, wetting the top.
3. Cook 8 hours on low setting or 4 hours on high.
4. When the roast is cooked, remove it from the pot to rest.
5. Turn pot to high. In a bowl, whisk 2 cups cold water with a pack of gravy thickener until smooth.
6. Pour mixture into a pot, whisking into the gravy, cooking on high and stir until gravy is thickened to taste.
7. Slice the roast and serve with gravy over rice or potatoes
