Bayou Magic Cajun Jambalaya, 12 oz

Directions: Cut up 2 to 2-1/2 lbs. chicken, remove excess fat and skin. Put chicken, 3 cups of water and
1 tsp. of BAYOU MAGIC CAJUN SEASONING in a large pot, boil for 15 minutes. Remove chicken and leave
broth in pot. Debone chicken and cut into bite-size pieces.
Add to Broth: 1 can cream of celery soup, 1 can French onion soup, a 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes and
1 lb. cubed smoked sausage.
Add 2 BAYOU MAGIC BAY LEAVES and the contents of the package. Stir well. Bring to a hard boil, and reduce to
low heat. Cook COVERED 15 minutes on low heat. Add chicken and stir well. Cook for about 20 minutes,
stirring 2 or 3 times until rice is tender. Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes.
Remove bay leaves.
