I fried up some catfish at the Atlanta NASCAR race with this and it was a hit. Nor sure of the seasoning it had I sprinkled a little Ragin Cajun Cajun Seasoning on the fish then coated it with this fish fry. I didn't dip the fish in anything just dropped the pieces in a bowl an to the fryer. It stayed on the fish and fried up nice. I was surprised there wasn't a lot of the coating on the bottom of the Dutch oven. It is a bit on the cornmeal side so if you like the texture or taste of a fry mix made of flour or a majority flour you may not like this. I would say in comparison it's maybe 70-75%corneal 25-30% flour verse the seasoning you typically find that's just the opposite composition. I had a picture of some fish along with a bottle of Dat Dip but there's no way to post it unfortunately
