Louisiana Fish Fry - New Orleans Style Shrimp Creole Base
A New Orleans Original. Our rich sauce has just the right amount of onions, bell peppers, garlic, and herbs. Add shrimp and serve over rice for an iconic New Orleans dish.

- Melt 5 tbsp. butter or margarine in a saucepan. Add LA Fish Fry Shrimp Crole Base. Cooke over low heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add 2 cups water and an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce. Stir.
- Cook uncovered for 15 minutes on low heat, stirring often. Add 1 lb. of peeled shrimp to the base and cook on low heat for 15 more minutes or until the seafood is thoroughly cooked and opaque in color (to 145°F). Serve over cooked rice. Enjoy!
