Ragin' Cajun Seafood Boil
One of their hottest items during crawfish season, Ragin' Cajun Crawfish Boil is a southern favorite for boiling your shrimp, crabs, and crawfish. Use a lot to make 'em hot, or a bit less if you enjoy your seafood lightly seasoned. The coast boasts about Ragin' Cajun Boil!
Boiling Instructions: Use enough water to cover the seafood. Place water and contents of this package into a large cooking container. Stir and bring to a rolling boil. Add seafood, stir, cover and return to boil. Cook and soak seafood as directed on the table (see back of package). Steaming Instruction: In a large pot put 4 inches of water with no seasoning, cover, and bring water to a rolling boil. When steam escapes from the sides of the lid, add seafood. When steam escapes from the sides of the lid again, begin timing. Steam seafood for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes immediately remove seafood and layer in a styrofoam chest. Season each layer generously with seasoning. Cover chest tightly and let stand for 12 minutes and enjoy. Hint: A small amount of margarine or cooking oil will make peeling easier. Extra Spice: Sprinkle seafood with Ragin’ Cajun Seafood Boil after removing from the liquid. Warning: Only use styrofoam chest. Will damage other containers.
