Instructions
Chicken & Sausage Gumbo Directions: If using a whole chicken, pre-cook chicken, if using boneless chicken breast, cut them into smaller pieces. Cut up chicken and combine 2 lbs. of chicken and 1 lb. of smoked Cajun sausage with 2 quarts of water or chicken stock in a 4-quart pot. Add package of Ragin Cajun’s Cajun Gumbo Ready Mix, stir well. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until meat is fully cooked. Serve over rice. Enjoy.
