Ragin' Cajun Jambalaya Mix
Easy and tasty Cajun Jambalaya. This contains Louisiana rice, vegetables, and a special blend of spices. Prepared with chicken, sausage, or seafood, it's a classic Cajun meal.
Add 1 pound of smoked sausage, seafood, chicken, pork, or beef. In 2 1/2 quart pot sauté the meat in 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil (seafood and smoked sausage do not need to be pre-cooked). Chop meat or seafood into bite-size pieces, drain well. Add package of Ragin’ Cajun Jambalaya Mix, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, and 2 1/2 cups of water. Stir well and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
