Love it

My grandmother brought the gumbo mix back from New Orleans on a recent trip for me. I usually make the roux from scratch but it is very time consuming. I tried this and only added the protein and was very surprised how good it was. I didn’t have to add any additional spices. I’ve tried other mixes and this one takes the cake. So I went online and ordered a bunch since I live in Colorado. Fantastic mix!

Gumbo base is a winner!

This Gumbo base checks all the boxes for flavor, and being authenthic. The spice level is "moderate" right where it needs to be. We added it to a 10 OZ package of Eckrige Beef Sausage--even tho the box stated it was formulated for 16 OZ of protein. The Gumbo didn;t over whelme the sausage. I'll buy again!

The Real Deal!

I am a Connoisseur for Gumbo. I usually don't use anything out of a Box. I am a native of Louisiana. I live in Georgia. One of my favorite food is Our Gumbo. This mix is fabulous. It delivers boldly on flavor and originality. I will definitely purchase again and recommend. It is the ultimate simple mix. Try it! I did add shrimp to mine.
