Ingredients:

2-3lbs of diced potatoes 

Beef broth 

4 cups water or broth 

1/4 cup Zydeco Chop Chop

1 tablespoon minced dehydrated garlic 

1 large onion chopped

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup Sour Cream

1/2 pint of whipping cream 

4 table spoons butter

1/4 cup of all purpose flour

Cajun Bait Garlic Blend

Cajun Bait Smoked Jalapeno Blend

Garnishes:

Shredded cheese

Sour Cream

Bacon Pieces

  • Add diced potatoes, water, beef broth, onion, garlic, a couple of shakes of Cajun Bait Garlic Blend and Cajun Bait Smoked Jalapeno Blend and 1/4 cup of Zydeco Chop Chop
  • Stir together and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours 
  • At 4 hours start a blonde roux:
  • Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat
  • Once butter is melted, add ¼ cup of flour stirring to mix the flour and butter
  • Slowly add heavy whipping cream slowly while stirring until roux becomes blonde
  • Add blonde roux to crock pot
  • Mash potatoes with a potato masher and stir well
  • Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheese and 1 cup sour cream 
  • Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high
  • Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon and Cajun Bait Smoke Jalapeno Blend 

Serves 6-8 people
