PECAN CHEESE CAKE PIE
1 package of Calhoun Bend Mill's Pecan Pie Mix
1 – 9 inch Deep Dish Frozen Crust OR Pre-Made Pie Crust OR Pie Crust Mix
1 Cup Pecans (pieces, halves or chopped)
2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine, melted
1/4 Cup Water
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine ingredients listed above, adding pecans last.
- Set aside.
Cream Cheese Mixture
• 1 pkg. 8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
• 1 Egg 1/2 Cup of Sugar
• 3 Tablespoon of Flour
In large mixing bowl, on low speed, blend Cream Cheese, Egg, Sugar and Flour until smooth.
SPREAD prepared Cream Cheese Mixture into a deep-dish unbaked pie crust.
POUR Pecan Pie Mixture over Cream Cheese Mixture.
SPOON cream cheese mixture into pie crust; spread evenly.
BAKE 35 – 40 minutes. Cool to room temperature before cutting. Pie becomes firmer as it cools.
If desired, top with ice cream or whipped cream. Serve and enjoy.
Store remaining pie in the refrigerator covered.
